A cute yet poignant pic that we can all relate to, I think. This is a clever, sweet and lovely blog.

The following quote came to my attention, as it's on the first page of fellow-stumbler Xtine66, whose blog is just plumb full (yes, I said that), of wonderful news articles (the good, the bad and the downright ugly) pics and information on subjects far and wide, North and South. Only now, after stumbling for about a year and a half, has the importance become so ... well, important. Why bother going to someone's site over and over again, unless you give it a thumb (either one), because that is why we are here. To post, and hopefully get feed-back on our postings. Admittedly, I have been negligent in thumbing posts stumbled to me, as the volume is so immense. But seldom do I seek out a stumbler, to not give them a thumb. Oh, I've likely forgotten to, but I, of this moment, swear on the blog of the exalted Xtine66, that I shall not err again. At least, I'll give it my best shot. Xtine66 is a very observant stumbler - and I don't want to make her angry. :o

IT IS WRITTEN: Why do people write glowing reviews of sites and Stumblers (even adding them to their friends list) without giving them a thumbs up? Why do some of my friends thank me profusely for sites I send them but never give 'em the thumbs up?
Curiouser and curiouser... ~ Xtine66 ~

One of two 'wearable' kaleidoscopes I found courtesy of Clown Assasin's blog. I had almost forgot about Kaleidoscopes, until I found this site. OR someone else found this site. No matter. It's beautiful - such great designs, colourful and abstract. Also, there are the larger kaleidoscopes - in brass, wood, but all with that special power to rev up our imaginations.

And this is a design from one of the larger hand-held type. There are stand up Kaleidoscopes as well, like a telescope into the mind. Not the stars, but into your own colourful dreams.

From curtisg's blog - and a very clever one, I might add. Can't help but love this pic. A lot of great poetry, and some *sigh* pics from a time long past (Clockwork Orange). It all makes for a 'now' meets 'then' vibe.

I love fractal art, so colourful and so ... groovy... maybe I should take up pot smoking...then, maybe not ;) An interesting site despite all the very cool artistry. *** a couple of days later, I read this entry "an interesting site despite all the cool artistry". Now. What on earth did I mean??? I must've been thinking of more things than the site. OR maybe it has 'real' meaning. Go there. Find out, and report back to me. Hahaha..

Naturally, we ALL need this: a diamond encrusted Mercedes, owned by a Saudi Arabian Prince. He charges 'common folk' $1,000 to just touch it. Hmmm..wonder who paid for that baby?

Not only do we get to see this 'Floating Hotel', but this site offers a look at some very cool designs from watches to glasses, and everything in between. Some very artistic approaches to everyday items. I noted the pic had split the veritable scene when I logged on, so hit the link, if you don't see the pic, and be amazed! Yes! Amazed! The largest/most expensive, most luxurious, seem to all reside in Dubai.

More on aeronautics. This is a very cool looking 'hotel'. Very classy, modern and maybe a look to the future. Still, I doubt many of us will be flying in it. Perhaps that's the answer to a recent spate of UFO sightings in Nevada or some dang place. Still, a bit of Star Trek a little closer to home.

Another look at what this site has to offer. These unique glasses, are not likely 'inexpensive', but are more down to earth than the floating hotel, I bet.
